The Office of the Commissioner Representing Employers sponsors the Texas Conference for Employers. During this time of COVID, fewer in-person meetings are available; therefore, a virtual option is offered for areas that do not have a 2022 in-person meeting scheduled. Employers are encouraged to attend in-person if a meeting is offered in your area and virtually, if a close in-person meeting is not an option. The Texas Conference for Employers continues to offer Texas employers the opportunity to garner nuts and bolts information about state and federal employment law matters and how to deal with unemployment claims and the appeal process.
